The vision of Crossroads Accounting and Advisory Services came to me at an outreach in Carterton in mid June 2021. It was a normal day, looking forward to attending a Christian Outreach with my family. The idea of our business was born on that night. I knew God had called me to open this business, and use it to display his love and glory to people.

I had been in CA firms for 22 years in New Zealand & 3 years in South Africa. I have served many clients ranging from small sole trader businesses through to multi-million dollar businesses including professional firms, pharmacy, retail, trades, franchises, property developers, trading trusts and investment trusts. It is and always will be an honour for me to be part of my clients’ journeys and being entrusted with their financial, tax and business affairs. From basic compliance through to assisting clients with the purchase and sale of their businesses, providing tax and business advice, management reporting, helping with cashflow forecasts and liaising with banks / franchisors on behalf of my clients to achieve their outcomes, it has been an absolute privilege.

It has been an honour to be entrusted with and to serve as Operations Manager in two previous firms, in addition to looking after my own client portfolios. Helping the owners achieve their business goals, assisting with setting annual strategic financial and operational goals, reviewing the overall structures, identifying gaps and improving processes and working alongside them to achieve  business, financial and operation goals has given me valuable experience in understanding what my clients need and challenges they face from an overall business perspective.

In January 2009 my husband purchased a Motor Vehicle Repair workshop. He has built this into a very successful business and in December 2020 purchased a second business. These two businesses have consistently been the top performers in the franchise group.  My role in our family business has been to look after the financial and HR requirements of our company. In August 2014 I became co-director in the family business. Being hands on in a family business has again allowed me to understand what my clients deal with on a day to day basis,  the highs and lows of owning a business and it provides valuable experience to help service my clients to meet their goals.

In March 2022, we took a leap of faith and launched Crossroads Accounting & Advisory Services.
